Ariclenes da Silva Ferreira (born 11 December 1985 in Fortaleza), commonly known as Ari (Portuguese pronunciation: [aˈɾi]), is a Brazilian striker who plays for FC Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League.
Club career
Ari played with Allsvenskan team Kalmar FF. He was the top scorer in the Allsvenskan 2006 with 15 goals, one more than compatriot Afonso Alves had scored the previous season. Therefore AZ signed him for a reported £3.4 million (€5 million). In Alkmaar Ari never impressed and never became a full squad player.
In January 2010 Ari was transferred to FC Spartak Moscow for €3 million.[1]
International career
Ari has been capped for Brazil U20 and has trained with the full Brazilian squad.
